I purchased a 5 horse 2 stage compressor recently and I have to say that this is the best investment I've made in a long time. I build and restore classic 60s and 70s muscle cars here in California and the compressor is used primarily as an air source for glass bead blasting, in line sanders, DA sanders, air chisels, cut off wheels, and HVLP spray guns. It is not uncommon for sometimes 2 or even 3 tools to be used at once. I have yet to run out of air. The compressor is the hardest working member of my shop and it is quiet too. I bought it with a totally enclosed fan cooled motor and piped in fresh air to the comprssor because of the dusty air in the shop. I have been surprised at how little moisture there is in my compressed air now. I think it's because the 2 stage compressor has air coolers on each stage to precool the air before it's pumped into the tank. Thanks Eaton for a great addition to my shop! I looked around before buying and I am SO glad I stumbled onto your website. A great compressor at a great price and it's phyical size dwarfs the competition. In engines and trannys it's, "bigger is better"... I think it's also true of compressors.Paul R. Haller
