I purchased a new 5HP unit from EATON a little over 2 years ago. Matt bragged about low noise, long lasting, and VALUE, not just price. The motors he was using to run his compressors was a 2 year warranty deal. 2 years and 6 months after purchase, my motor went bad, and I was very upset. After talking with Steve, We agreed on FREE replacement and I just paid shipping. These guys are a class act, with NO BS when it comes to knowledge and making things right. The new motor that I got has a 5 year warranty and is a different brand (WEG), so I called Matt (owner) and asked him why. He said he tried another brand (for a short time), and some of those had a issue with startup windings, but he has gone back to WEG brand motors. He has now given me a 5 year warranty on the new motor, and I'm feeling 100% confident in the whole unit now.
By the way, I've had dozens of customers comment on how quiet my compressor is when it kicks in during a conversation. I can talk at normal levels instead of yelling.
YES, I am PROUD of my EATON compressor, and the service is exceptional.
